OUR MATERIALS
At Worn, design starts with materials. We work exclusively with upcycled leather and deadstock suede, selecting high-quality fabrics that would otherwise go to waste. This approach not only reduces environmental impact but ensures each jacket is made from materials designed to age beautifully and last for years.
DESIGN PROCESS
We don’t design for trends—we design for longevity. Our pieces are seasonless, handcrafted to retain their relevance year after year. Natural materials mean that no jacket is identical, making each piece unique.
CARE & LONGEVITY
A well-crafted jacket can last a lifetime—if you take care of it. Proper storage, regular conditioning, and mindful wear all extend its lifespan. That’s why we provide detailed care instructions, ensuring that your worn jacket looks as good in ten years as it does today. When it’s time to move on, sell it, pass it forward, or recycle it. Quality pieces are made to last.

SUEDE CARE
Suede is a living material with a unique texture and feel. To keep it looking its best:
Brush regularly – Use a soft suede brush to lift dirt and restore texture. Always brush in one direction to maintain its natural nap.
Avoid water – Suede is sensitive to moisture. If it gets wet, let it air dry at room temperature—never use direct heat. Once dry, gently brush it back into shape.
Treat stains early – For minor marks, use a suede eraser or a dry cloth. For tougher stains, test a suede cleaner on a small, hidden area before applying it.
Store properly – Keep your suede piece in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. A wide hanger helps maintain its shape.
Protect in advance – Applying a high-quality suede protector spray will help guard against dirt and moisture. Always test on a small area first.
LEATHER CARE
Leather evolves and ages beautifully with proper care. Here’s how to keep it soft and supple:
Wipe down after wear – Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the surface. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Moisturize regularly – Leather needs nourishment. Apply a leather conditioner to keep it soft and prevent cracking. Use sparingly and always test on a hidden area first.
Avoid heat & direct sunlight – Never dry leather with artificial heat (radiators, hairdryers), as it can cause the material to dry out and crack. Let it air dry naturally.
Hang it right – Store your leather jacket on a wide hanger to maintain its shape, and avoid prolonged folding.
Care for scratches – Minor scuffs can often be buffed out with a soft cloth. For deeper marks, a leather repair kit may help, but for serious damage, consult a professional.
Professional Care – If you need to clean your entire jacket, we recommend taking it to a leather specialist. They have the expertise to treat different leather types and colors properly, helping to restore and extend its lifespan.
By following these simple care tips, your Worn pieces will last for years, growing more beautiful with time.
